Cowes Week 2012 was a big success!
We raised in excess of £1,000 from the 4 days, mainly from our 250m sprint race on the rowing machine. The fastest time being 39.2 seconds by a very competitive Edward White - congratulations, we will be in touch shortly regarding your ATP Finals tickets!
We were also selling our Atlantic Row 2013 wrist bands, which went like hotcakes! For those of you who have yet to buy one, please let one of us know and we will drop one round to you, in return for a small donation!
On Monday we also took part in a 12hr rowing session next to the Talisker stand which attracted a huge amount of attention - which we loved! Thank you to all those well wishers who cheered us on during our 2hr shifts from 9am until 9pm! A gruelling task but we came out of it the other end feeling really good so headed to the pub for a well deserved drink!
Finally, we had a great time meeting the Talisker team, the guys from RPM, the Harlequins lads and many more who were really supportive. Particular thanks go to Hannah Kamelmacher, Simon Chalk, Rory MacKenzie and Trish Patrish for making it a big success and a shed load of fun!
More to come from Atlantic Row 2013!
