The Team Atlantic Row 2013 band wagon rolled into Highfield School in Liphook last week.
We presented to all the children and staff about our Atlantic Row and were inundated with questions about shark attacks, whales, rowing naked and sore bottoms! I think we may have even managed to covert some of the pupils to support the legendary Newcastle United (who were part of our presentation!).
To help us with our campaign, the children and staff have agreed to raise money for our charities by undertaking a ’24hr Rowathon’ Brutal! They will be taking it in turns to row for 20-30mins each and have all been busy collecting sponsorship for their allocated slot. All this money will then be donated to our 3 charities! We greatly appreciate all their support and wish them luck for the Rowathon which starts at midday on Thursday 20th June. Give it some welly guys!
A massive thanks goes to James Figgis for arranging all this for us. Good man!
