Simrad provide electronic equipment for our boat!

Despite having both achieved over 90% in their Ocean Yacht Master qualifications, Will & Dan will not solely be relying on their newly acquired navigational skills in their bid to complete this challenge.

The team at Simrad have joined Team Atlantic Row 2013 and have generously donated all of the electronic equipment required for the race including the boy's Tillerpilot, GPS and VHF radios - this is a terrific piece of news!

SIMRAD is one of the oldest names in marine electronics, they started out over 60 years ago producing radio telephones for Norwegian fishing boats, and in the process laid the foundations of a reputation for making tough and capable equipment that survives to this day. Partnering with a company as highly regarded as Simrad is vital for the team’s chances for achieving their goal.

‘Simrad are delighted to be providing Team Atlantic Row 2013 with a range of high quality electronic equipment for their ocean rowing boat. The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is known as the toughest rowing race on Earth and we wish them the very best of luck.’
