The Role

We are looking for a highly experienced AdWords professional who has a proven track-record for delivering successful campaigns and is keen to share their knowledge, educate others and to be an evangelist for PPC & training.

 

You will need to have in depth knowledge and strong practical working experience of Google AdWords. The ideal candidate will have run successful AdWords campaigns across multiple sectors, with different goals, KPI’s and targets. They will also have a high level of experience in running all aspects of a PPC account, including the campaign planning, practical setup, tracking implementation and reporting.

 

We need a specialist with guru-like knowledge of Google AdWords, being up to date on the latest innovations and Beta’s is essential as well as keeping up to date with all industry publications and events. Ideally you will also have experience with other PPC based platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Yahoo Gemini.

 

A key part of this role will be taking ownership of the AdWords training material being used for both classroom and online courses. Maintaining and evolving the content for our Google AdWords Standard, Google AdWords Advanced and Google Display Network courses will be a core aspect of the role. You will also be instrumental in helping identify opportunities for new PPC based courses to add to the portfolio.

 

You will be delivering face-to-face training to members of the public predominantly from our new training centre located at The Shard in London, but also there will be regular sessions conducted from other locations both within the UK, US, South Africa and some other less frequent overseas destinations.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to build their own profile within the industry, we will be positioning and promoting you as a thought leader and providing time for you to create both written / video content for publication online, creating compelling case studies of work carried out by the agency, leading round-table events, public speaking engagements, hosting events at our training venue and being pro-active in sourcing good opportunities for increasing the awareness of the training proposition.

 

Another crucial part of the role will be running the PPC campaign for Jellyfish Training, generating leads and bookings through AdWords campaigns as well as social media advertising. This will also help insure your practical working knowledge remains up to date whilst delivering training.

Responsibilities

  • Takes ownership of all AdWords training content.
  • Maintains and evolves existing classroom and online courses.
  • Identifies opportunities for new courses.
  • Hosts classroom training.
  • Evangelize analytics and the training proposition through a combination of online and offline media.
  • Speaking at events & hosting round tables.
  • Responsible for Jellyfish Training PPC campaigns across the UK, USA and South Africa.
  • Responding to post-training questions from attendees.
  • Has an excellent understanding of the latest Google AdWords innovations
  • Through the delivery of great training, encourages repeat bookings onto other courses.
  • Through delivery of great training, encourages other non-training work to originate from training clients.
  • Create and present tailored courses to training clients.
  • Inputs into relevant training content so it’s kept up-to-date and reflects our position as a market leading AdWords provider.
  • Can build and run high quality AdWords campaigns.
  • Understand how to implement and use AdWords tools including DoubleClick, AdWords Editor, AdWords Scripts and Merchant Centre.
  • Can troubleshoot poor performing campaigns and identify solutions.
  • Provides management reporting to department head when requested and in a timely manner.

Experience Required

  • Experience working with AdWords campaigns, building accounts, running campaigns and reporting results
  • Experience across multiple sectors, using a range of different goals, targets and KPIs
  • Experience across all AdWords campaign types; Essential - search, display, remarketing, RLSA, True View. Ideal – GSP, Universal App Campaigns, DSA, Customer Match.
  • Practical use of AdWords Editor and Google Merchant Centre
  • Understanding of tracking and attribution for PPC
  • Experience implementing new functionalities and Beta’s within AdWords
  • Experience running PPC campaigns within Bing, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Extremely comfortable presenting, training and public speaking.
