Chris made the transition from Google AdWords to Google Analytics in the summer of 2014, after five years experience in the PPC world - working for top digital agencies and writing blogs along the way such as "How a PPC ad scheduling strategy drove 69% improvement in CPA" (for Econsultancy) and "How Restructuring Improved Quality Score & Reduced CPA by 23%" (for PPC Hero). The blogs prompted further study and insight into attribution, a passion and interest which ultimately culminated in a career change to join the Analytics team, through the Jellyfish Analytics Academy.
Chris began working globally for brand awareness clients, picking up on the importance of site engagement metrics as performance indicators - rather than sales. As his role evolved he later worked with direct response clients with the all important ROI/CPA. His five years of experience includes a wealth of best practises and a strategic awareness with client interaction along every step of the way. Outside work, Chris enjoys playing his guitar with his friends and family, singing and writing songs. He'd love to perform more – but just can't find the time!
