Hi everyone! I’m Loulou and I’ve joined Jellyfish as a Senior Content Executive.
I graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, with a degree in English Literature before moving out to the French Alps for four seasons. Based in Tignes, I combined my passions of writing and the action sports industry by working as a freelance writer and launching my own online ski and snowboarding magazine. Unfortunately, my ability to speak French is still virtually non-existent– but I do know how to ask to get my skis waxed!
Four seasons and one horrendously broken leg later (I’m never entering the snow park again), I decided to move to the ‘big smoke’ and pursue a career in content marketing and copywriting. I worked for an ecommerce site for two years that specialised in surf, skate and snow. My role involved writing blog posts, campaign and mailer copy and interviewing athletes. However, salty waves and the screech of seagulls beckoned, so I decided to move to Brighton full-time… and now here I am!
During the winter, you’ll find me on my skis or falling off my snowboard. When I’m not in the mountains, I’ll be heading out on other adventures and embracing what Brighton has to offer – going to gigs and yoga classes, writing in cafes and attempting to longboard along the prom (watch out if you see me as I’m still mastering crowd-dodging!).
