Kent, surrey and sussex air ambulance

The Air Ambulance is an independent charitable healthcare provider working with the Ambulance Service, providing a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS).

Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance receives no statutory funding, relying almost entirely upon donations to keep the service going.  Every penny, of the approximate £6.4 million we seek to raise each year comes from individuals, businesses, groups, and clubs from all over Kent, Surrey and Sussex.

The Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance relieves sick and injured people in South East England and surrounding areas by providing a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and Air Ambulance Service for the benefit of the community.

St Catherine’s Hospice

St Catherine’s Hospice is a charity dedicated to providing free, specialised end of life care and support to local people, their families, friends and carers. We care for people in our Crawley and Caterham hospices and in the community across Sussex and Surrey. We also provide training, advice and support to other health professionals.

Hospice care is based on the belief that each person is more than their illness, and that each of us has unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. St Catherine’s responds to the needs of each individual, helping people achieve the best possible quality of life.

This highly personal, holistic approach to care takes time, skill and experience from a multi-professional team which means that we must raise around £15,000 every day to fund it.
