The Role

Jellyfish, delivers digital marketing solutions across the world for a host of impressive brands from their offices in the US, Europe, and APAC. The Technology solutions group that works heavily and closely with Google around implementing the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) tools within agencies and brands.  These tools cover search, display/video advertising, analytics, and creative.

 

We have an exceptional opportunity for an Account Director to join our San Francisco office.  You will work closely with the Dynamix analytics, account and sales teams to identify and nurture opportunities for Dynamix account growth across the Google Marketing Platform.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Analytics & Optimization team to identify and develop strategic opportunities for growth of analytics services
  • Helping fellow Account Directors and Account Managers find additional opportunities for existing DV360/CM/GA360 clients who could leverage GA360 to solve their business problems
  • Identify opportunities within GA360 projects for additional GMP product adoption - DV360/CM/GA360
  • Support new business efforts
  • Nurture positive, collaborative working relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Maintain an in depth understanding of GA360 capabilities and a strong understanding of other GMP products and interplay across Jellyfish’s marketplace
  • Working closely with the Account Directors to implement and facilitate strategic opportunities that have been identified for client campaigns (new and existing clients).
  • Kicking off new clients for GA360 and ensuring proper education of the tool for new clients
  • Support strategic roadmap definition for GA360 projects
  • Owning the self-service GA360 book of business
  • Managing and monitoring the production and presentation of client facing reports, studies and presentations to Jellyfish brand standards.
  • Attending and facilitating key account meetings.
  • Achieving continuous improvement by proactively assessing Jellyfish’s working relationships, practices and methods.
  • Maintaining an in depth understanding of Jellyfish’s marketplace, with a particular emphasis on all new and emerging initiatives.

 

Deliverables

  • Demonstrates measurable success through the achievement of set KPIs. E.g. account turnover and profitability, campaign management, report generation/analysis and overall service.

 

People Management

  • Supporting and mentoring a team of Account Managers assisting them with their individual performance in order to achieve their KPIs.
  • Assisting the Account Director with the Account Management Team’s development needs, ensuring that each team member follows their training and personal development plan.
  • Setting a professional example in behaviour, attitude and results at all times.
  • Upholding the company’s position and integrity at all time, particularly within the realms of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Continually managing client expectations.
  • Ability to manage a team of 2-4 people as growth of GA360 accounts progresses

 

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing account management; with previous accountability for annual billings in excess of $2M

Skill Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running online marketing campaigns
  • Deep experience with GA360, search campaign strategy, execution of campaigns in the platform, understanding of how GA360 works with CM/DV360
  • Understanding DV360/CM  to upsell to GA360 to existing clients who use DV360/CM
  • Understanding GA360 clients to upsell DV360/CM to existing GA360 clients
  • Proficiency in the GA360 platform to provide clear guidance for kicking off new clients during onboarding
  • Ability to work across multiple accounts and projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly influencing and listening skills.
  • Strong customer telephone and face to face skills
  • Confident and articulate presenter
  • Proven ability to proficiently chair meetings
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail
