The Role

Reporting to the UK Regional Director/s,  you will play a key role in the efficient qualification and facilitation of new opportunities for the UK Agency via both inbound enquiries and key partnerships (such as Google), as well as assisting in the development of frameworks to support strategic outbound and follow-up strategies for agency marketing initiatives such as events, round tables etc.


You will work closely with the Sales Operations Manager in ensuring a seamless transition from initial lead qualification through the full pitch process.


This role will own the top-of-funnel opportunity stage and is perfect for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is dynamic, personable and is seeking to add value in a fast-paced environment.


  • Own the facilitation and qualification of inbound leads (phone; email; key partners; referrals etc.)
  • Assist in accurately logging all communication relevant to the prospect/opportunity in relevant systems and tools
  • Ensure every businesses first touchpoint with Jellyfish is representative of our core traits and values as the biggest/best boutique agency
  • Be integral to the development and ongoing evolution of the Jellyfish sales process and work closely with the agency team and delivery teams to continually improve and refine
  • Facilitate and schedule initial prospect meetings/calls with key stakeholders
  • Facilitate internal qualification discussions with senior Jellyfish team to present core information relevant to an opportunity and aid in the discussion around whether we invest in pitching
  • Conduct due diligence and research as well as obtain key business insights and information to help inform the pitch team/and create robust business case for investing in the pitch opportunity
  • Assist the Sales Operations Manager and Regional Director/s in compiling, analysing, and presenting new business data, both for internal and external reporting and to support with emerging prospect needs.
  • Aid in the maintenance of the agency new business toolkit
  • Assist in the compilation of market research for new business opportunities and key growth verticals for potential outbound activity
  • Research digital marketing trends and key industry news that can be used to identify opportunities and determine our new business strategy
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to support events and develop a follow-up framework to ensure we engage with key prospects and clients
  • Liaise with internal operational teams to ensure clients taken to pitch are set up in all internal systems.
  • Support with creating case studies and drawing the relevant ones for inclusion in pitches and presenting to prospects in early stage conversations

Experience Required

Substantial experience in administration / operations management; ideally within a marketing or sales environment.

Skill Requirements

  • Experience in business development or project management with a focus on digital marketing
  • Ability to accurately present results and deal with enquiries both internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform (GMP) is ideal but not essential
  • A passion for and understanding of all things digital, as well as a constant curiosity to learn about the latest trends
  • Experience with MS Office suite, Google Suite, Salesforce (desired not essential) and ability to create, format, and manipulate Excel spreadsheets and develop MS PowerPoint / Google doc based presentations
  • Demonstrates a structured and methodical way of working, with the ability to cope with numerous competing demands around tight turnarounds and task prioritisation.
