The Role

The HR Advisor will be responsible for the delivery of professional and responsive advice and guidance to managers on all employee relations matters. Serving as an experienced point of contact within the team, the HR Advisor will work closely with the  Global Head of HR on the people strategy and people projects as needed.

 

The HR Advisor will also work as a dedicated “People Partner” for set departments on their strategic people needs supported closely by the Global Head of HR.

Responsibilities

  • To provide professional advice and support to managers on matters relating to disciplinary, grievance, performance management. This will involve start-to-end management from process advice, attending meetings and following up regarding outcomes.
  • To work closely with the Global Head of HR on initiatives and caseload pertaining to Equality & Diversity, Disability in employment, Harassment & Bullying, Performance & Capability, Employee Engagement and Organisational Change.
  • Developing people managers to build knowledge, capability and understanding in ER through training sessions, coaching and our e-learning tool.
  • Assisting with generalist HR activity when the need dictates
  • Stay abreast of employment law, case law and good practices - disseminating information to the wider HR team if appropriate.
  • Using HRIS to record, report and analyse data pertaining to ER

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR environment and ER Advisory role
  • CIPD level 5

Skill Requirements

  • Working knowledge of HR Policy and Procedure
  • Ability to multi task against competing priorities, in a fast-paced, responsive, working environment
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to produce high quality work
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly influencing and listening skills
  • Ability to work with all levels throughout the organization and cross-functionally
  • Exhibits a high level of attention to detail
  • High quality business writing skills
