The Role

Reporting to the Head of Paid Media, the PPC Director will have responsibility for a portfolio of clients and managing direct reports, while effectively delivering PPC campaigns that exceed expectations and KPIs.


  • Spot checking and analysing a portfolio of campaigns to provide guidance and recommendations to the PPC Management Team in order to hit and exceed client expectations and KPIs.
  • Working closely with Senior Management and Department Heads to identify and develop strategic opportunities for client PPC campaigns (new and existing clients).
  • Mastering Jellyfish’s methodologies, and internal tools
  • Nurturing positive, collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues and third party suppliers (particularly the Search Networks).
  • Managing and monitoring the production and presentation of client facing reports, studies and presentations to Jellyfish brand standards.
  • Attending and facilitating key account meetings with Account Management Team.
  • Achieving continuous improvement by proactively assessing Jellyfish’s working relationships, practices and methods.
  • Maintaining an in depth understanding of Jellyfish’s marketplace, with particular emphasis on all new and emerging initiatives.

Experience Required

  • Managing direct reports (Senior PPC Managers, PPC Managers and PPC Executives) effectively, ensuring that their individual performance is acceptable and resulting in the achievement of team KPIs.
  • Taking ownership for the PPC Management Team’s development needs, ensuring that each team member has a training and personal development plan with regular appraisals.
  • Ensuring that the performance and conduct of the PPC Management Team is in line with Jellyfish business processes and procedures.
  • Taking ownership of people related issues within the PPC Management Team in accordance with company procedure.
  • Setting a professional example in behaviour, attitude and results at all times.
  • Upholding the company’s position and integrity at all time, particularly within the realms of confidentiality and discretion.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running PPC campaigns.
  • Significant experience in digital marketing PPC management; with previous accountability for annual billings in excess of £6m
  • Google Fundamentals and Advanced Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
